Join The Cognitive Corner as an Independent Contractor Therapist in Calgary, Alberta. This hybrid role combines in-person and virtual therapy, offering a chance to provide trauma-informed care. The Cognitive Corner is expanding its therapist team to support diverse communities across Alberta and Ontario. We seek a compassionate therapist with a Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field, alongside a minimum of two years of clinical experience. This position allows you to work flexible hours while contributing to accessible and culturally responsive mental health services in a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person therapy sessions in Calgary
- Conduct virtual therapy for clients across Alberta and Ontario
- Coordinate and manage client intakes effectively
- Participate in group clinical consultations
- Engage in continuous professional development and mentorship
- Master’s degree and active registration in social work or psychology
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience
- Trauma-focused therapy certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Culturally competent and empathetic approach
