Are YOU our next Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist?
We’re looking for a Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Core Lab team in Kelowna, BC. You will be responsible for delivering in a timely manner the highest level of clinical and scientific quality to everyone we serve with a variety of testing using the latest technology. Permanent Full Time
Shift: Day shift.
Chemistry
Access a health and wellness benefits program that supports you and your loved ones
Performing routine testing duties within Chemistry and Hematology which includes but not limited to analyzer maintenance, calibration, QC and troubleshooting.
Ensuring quality control standards are maintained, investigating missing samples and performing routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
Recording, interpreting and/or approving test results.
You have a minimum of 6 years experience as a certified Medical Laboratory Technologist
Carry a CSMLS Registration as a practicing Medical Laboratory Technologist in good standing
Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level
Solid ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for resolution
Nice to have: working experience in the Chemistry or Hematology field, knowledge and understanding of Diagnostic Accreditation standards.

Physical and Environmental Demands
Exposure to noise, chemicals, solvents and bio-hazardous and radioactive materials
Shift work required

Starting at $40.00 per hour
