AtkinsRéalis seeks a recent graduate with fire protection engineering interests for Toronto, Ottawa, or Vancouver opportunities across Canada.
The Odyssey Program supports new graduates through hands-on experience, mentorship, training, and exposure to diverse engineering projects. You will support fire suppression, fire alarm, integrated life safety systems, and code consulting for complex facilities. Work alongside experienced engineers and specialists in a multidisciplinary consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with fire alarm and suppression system design
- Research NBCC, NFCC, NFPA, ULC, and CSA requirements
- Participate in integrated life safety systems testing
- Prepare technical reports and compliance documentation
- Support coordinated multidisciplinary design development
Requirements:
- Recent engineering graduate or graduating in 2027
- Bachelor’s degree or Fire Protection Engineering Technology diploma
- Relevant fire protection coursework, projects, or research
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
