Join Clearford as a Water Systems Operator-in-Training and support crucial water treatment and distribution operations. This role emphasizes safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
In this hands-on role, the Operator-in-Training will be responsible for maintaining water and wastewater treatment systems across Ontario. You will conduct sampling, troubleshoot equipment, and work collaboratively within the Operations team to deliver high-quality service. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in a field focused on sustainability and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and repair plant equipment and controls
- Collect and analyze water and wastewater samples
- Maintain logs for operational compliance
- Participate in the operational training of new facilities
- Assist with emergency responses and system upkeep
Requirements:
- OIT Licenses in Water Treatment and Wastewater
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in water treatment
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid Ontario Class G2 driver's license
- Reliable transportation for duty shifts
