The primary role of the Mortgage Specialist Associates (MSA) is to facilitate the sale of Manulife Bank’s mortgage solutions. The MSAs will collect all required documentation from the clients, include all notes to support the application and package and submit the mortgage deals appropriately with a focus on accuracy to expedite the decision process. They will work directly with Mortgage Specialists to gather required information and answering questions to facilitate a successful and seamless mortgage sale.

Maintain client engagement and ensure administrative requirements are met throughout the mortgage application process to prevent clients from opting for competing lenders.
Address head office inquiries, provide information, explain policies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Coordinate field activities and direct business to the appropriate bank servicing unit, using CRM tools like Salesforce.2+ year previous experience in residential mortgage administration
~ Ability to influence and communicate effectively with Mortgage Specialists
~ Solid financial services and banking industry knowledge
~ Highly proficient in Excel and other office applications


Post-secondary degree or diploma in business an asset
Multi-tasking and creative problem solving skills
Strong collaborative skill set to work with MSs to create a superior client experience along with excellent administrative and follow-up skills
Strong interpersonal relationship building and listening skills
