Deliver private-duty senior care in Winnipeg with certified Health Care Aide expertise, compassionate companionship, and precise personal support. This work centers on one client.
You will provide dedicated, one-on-one care for an elderly gentleman transitioning home from Deer Lodge Centre. The full-time schedule uses split shifts lasting 1-2 hours, beginning at 8:30am and ending between 9:00-10:00pm, seven days weekly. The position is non-live-in, with an optional discounted apartment available in the same building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dignified bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
- Monitor mental and physical well-being throughout scheduled shifts
- Offer warm, engaging companionship and daily comfort
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs
- Manage light housekeeping connected with client care
Requirements:
- Current Health Care Aide certificate or recognized equivalent
- Proven superior health aid support experience
- Prior overnight mobility tracking experience highly preferred
- Physical stamina for frequent lifting and turning
- English communication with family and medical team
