- Assess patient strengths and weaknesses thoroughly
- Promote patient involvement in healthcare decisions
- Contribute to individualized care plans collaboratively
- Document and report on patient care outcomes
- Operate essential care equipment effectively
- Graduated from a recognized practical nursing program
- Current registration with the BCCNM
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work with medical equipment and technology
- Physical capacity to fulfill nursing duties
