Full-Time Permanent Housekeeping Supervisor Job Category : Limited Service Hotels Posted : Full-Time On-site Pay or shift range: $43,000 CAD to $46,000 CAD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR Assists in the, training and career development of all housekeeping employees; assists with performance evaluations and communicating performance standards to employees. Inspects the level of cleanliness in guest rooms, storage areas, laundry areas, restrooms and public areas. Assists in scheduling staff according to standards and forecasted occupancy; Assists in tracking inventory of linen and cleaning supplies to maintain appropriate levels necessary for efficient operation of the department; assists with monthly linen and supply inventory. Documents and communicates maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department to ensure hotel service quality standards are met. Follows company policies and procedures and is able to effectively communicate them to subordinates. Conducts training regarding safety, security, department procedures and service guidelines. Ensures hotel is in compliance with all federal, provincial and local laws, including Health and Safety, ESA and Human Rights. Alternate weekend shifts required. Education/

Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years experience in housekeeping or similar industry, to include supervisory experience. Special consideration will be given to those who exhibit exemplary performance. Working

Conditions:
Will be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. Will be exposed to and working with household chemicals. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $43,000 to $46,000 (salary + performance-based bonus for eligible positions). The pay range for this position takes into account multiple factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
