As a Staff Software Engineer, you play a pivotal role in defining the backend architecture for Everand’s web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with engineers and product partners to ensure user needs align with technical capabilities. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring, system modernization, and ensuring platform health and reliability.
Key Responsibilities: - Set technical direction for Everand's backend - Own backend reliability and platform health - Mentor engineers through PR reviews and pairing - Foster a culture of technical excellence - Drive modernization of legacy systems
Requirements: - Significant backend engineering experience - Proficient in backend coding, preferably Ruby - Proven architectural leadership skills - Experience with distributed systems - Strong collaborative mindset
