️ Structural Engineering Lead – Metrolinx Major Rail Programs Ontario, Canada Multidisciplinary Rail Design & Engineering Consultancy We are a specialist rail engineering consultancy delivering multidisciplinary design across OLE, M&E, Signalling and Structural Engineering. With clients including AECOM, AtkinsRéalis, Network Rail, and Balfour Beatty , we are expanding our structural capability to support major Metrolinx programs. We're seeking a Structural Engineering Lead to drive design delivery for flagship projects such as the GO Rail Expansion (OnCorr) and the Ontario Line , with full program completion expected by 2032. What You'll Do Lead and attend site inspections, ensuring all structural elements of the works are captured in design documentation Review, verify, and approve all structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and engineering reports Provide leadership on design methodology, ensuring constructability, site access, staging, and railway operations are fully integrated Represent the engineering team at site meetings and technical briefings with Metrolinx Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality structural solutions for complex rail environments What You Bring P.Eng (Ontario) – required Minimum 8 years' experience in Engineering Asset Construction (EAC), Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering within rail/transit —or— A strong blend of rail system planning, structural design, construction, operations, maintenance, or program/project management PTS (Metrolinx) certification or ability to obtain before starting Working at Heights certification or ability to obtain PMP certification preferred Experience leading structural design in complex, multidisciplinary rail projects is a strong asset Why Join Us?
