Shape a safe energy future as a Civil & Geotechnical Engineer at Powertech Labs in Surrey, B.C. Focus on cutting-edge laboratory testing for embankment dam materials.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Civil Technology Engineering Team Lead and multidisciplinary teams. This full-time temporary position requires conducting detailed analyses, preparing technical reports, and effectively communicating outcomes. Your role is pivotal in ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct laboratory evaluations of dam materials • Interpret and analyze test results • Prepare detailed engineering documentation and reports • Coordinate testing efforts according to project goals • Provide oversight and guidance to lab personnel

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering • Up to five years of engineering experience • Eligible for Professional Engineer registration (P.Eng.) • Class 5 driver’s license • Excellent presentation and communication skills
