Coordinate freight dispatch from Charger Logistics’ Brampton office using customer service, rate negotiation, and transportation analysis skills. Support daily priorities across diverse freight movements.
As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will serve customers while coordinating inbound and outbound freight against transportation targets. The position involves relationships with brokers and carriers, shipment tracking, documentation troubleshooting, and resolving service discrepancies. You will analyze lane data, on-time performance, and costs to support effective rate negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight against daily priorities
- Build relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers
- Analyze lane data, performance, and transportation costs
- Negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers
- Track shipments and resolve service risks proactively
Requirements:
- Three or more years in trucking or dispatch
- Supply Chain Management or relevant educational background
- Dedicated customer service experience in similar environments
- Knowledge of transportation industry and North American geography
- Good command of Excel, Word, and new software
