Lead safe and efficient operations as a Mine Hoist Supervisor at Alamos Gold's Island Gold District in Dubreuilville, ON. Alamos Gold is seeking an experienced Mine Hoist Supervisor with a strong technical background and leadership skills. You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations while enhancing operational efficiency. This position is pivotal for coordinating maintenance schedules and troubleshooting issues in an underground environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily mine shaft operations and hoist activities
- Monitor equipment performance for safety and efficiency
- Implement and enforce comprehensive safety protocols
- Conduct maintenance and inspections of shaft equipment
- Prepare reports regarding shaft performance and compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
- Minimum 5 years in mine hoist operations, 2 years supervisory
- Expertise in mechanical/electrical systems and safety standards
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Current first aid certification required
