POSITION DESCRIPTION: Located in Laval, the Domaine des Forges residence offers a friendly and stimulating work environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled maintenance worker for a permanent part-time position, 16 hours per week, weekends only, daytime hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: All other related tasks Be available to respond to emergencies Change light bulbs in the common areas Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior Make service calls Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.) Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior Preventive maintenance on equipment Sweep and clean the floors of the corridors, common areas and workstations of the building EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset) BENEFITS: Salary to be discussed Free parking Uniform provided Referral Program Sick days and time off for family obligations Vacation Human management approach Consistent schedule Career Opportunity JOB STATUS: Permanent: Part Time JOB SCHEDULE: Weekends
