This position supports a diverse corporate client portfolio within a growing CPA firm. You will handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and compliance support. Mentorship, training, and collaboration with senior accountants and CPAs support your public accounting development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with full-cycle bookkeeping for corporate clients
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare working papers for HST/GST returns
- Process payroll and related source deductions
- Maintain organized cloud-based accounting files
Requirements:
- Recent accounting or finance program graduate
- Foundational knowledge of debits, credits, and financial statements
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organization
