Our expectations The Accounting Analyst acts as an expert in his field and supports other team members as well as employees in our corporate stores. You will work in retail and online accounting to reconcile sales and payments received from customers and prepare bank reconciliations. You will be involved in various process improvement projects to simplify and improve the accuracy of results. You will contribute to the preparation of reliable financial information, reconcile certain balance sheet accounts, analyze expenses, and explain variances. In addition, as an Accounting Analyst, you will support the team in preparing financial statements and management reports. Your role Reconcile sales from accounting systems to settlement reports on a daily basis Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate unusual variances Perform month-end accounting entries and establish missing accruals Prepare and document other balance sheet accounts reconciliations for which he is the designated owner within the specified timeframe Establish and document accounting provisions for his area of expertise Analyze financial results in close collaboration with the FP&A team Participate in the optimization and automation of processes Ensure that internal controls are appropriate and fully respected Participate in various special projects (on an ad hoc basis).
