Support resident health and safety as a Dishwasher at Verve Senior Living, maintaining sanitation standards in dietary areas. Work with care and consistency.
This Dishwasher role supports infection control through ware-washing, pot washing, and department sanitation. Reporting to the Dining Services Manager or designate, you will follow established policies and procedures. Your work includes cleaning dishes, monitoring equipment temperatures, managing chemicals, and supporting dining service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery using sanitation procedures
- Monitor dish machine temperatures and report deficiencies
- Clean dishwashing, pot washing, and kitchen areas
- Bus dishes and vacuum dining areas between meal service
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Preferred one year of dishwashing experience
- Effective written and verbal English communication
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to work in hot, humid conditions
