Become a Senior Technician at e-STORAGE in Ottawa, Ontario, specializing in advanced battery energy systems. This position involves service travel and hands-on maintenance roles. This position at e-STORAGE focuses on commissioning and maintaining the innovative SolBank Storage Power Blocks. You’ll be responsible for onsite troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to ensure projects meet performance objectives and safety protocols. A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in renewable energy service is a must. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the commissioning of SolBank Storage Power Blocks
- Execute maintenance tasks that comply with warranties
- Provide expert onsite diagnostic and support services
- Guide and manage subcontractors during service tasks
- Create and improve operational procedures and processes
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant service experience
- Understanding of energy storage and photovoltaic systems
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel more than 50% of the time
