Exciting opportunity at Brandt for a Field Heavy Equipment Technician specializing in agricultural machinery. Support customers with top-notch service and repairs for John Deere equipment across Alberta. Join Brandt’s Ponoka branch in the Agriculture Division as a Field Heavy Equipment Technician. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural equipment like tractors, hay tools, and precision ag systems. This role involves hands-on work, extensive customer interaction, and travel to various job sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment systems
- Provide field mechanical support for customer needs
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and adjustments
- Maintain accurate field service reports for warranty invoicing
- Develop customer relationships in Alberta communities
- Certification as a Heavy Equipment Technician preferred
- Previous field tech experience is a plus
- Adept at problem-solving and reporting
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License required
