Build practical civil engineering experience with Parsons as a Student Intern supporting safety, quality assurance, and construction coordination. This opportunity is part of the Critical Infrastructure team.
Parsons seeks a Student Intern for Segment 03, supporting health and safety, quality assurance, planning, and field operations. You will participate in inspections, testing, survey coordination, concrete placements, and project planning meetings. The position suits students enrolled in Civil Engineering or Construction Management programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in toolbox talks, site inspections, and safety meetings
- Support testing, inspections, drawings, specifications, and ITPs
- Coordinate surveys, concrete placements, and construction activities
- Maintain progress records, daily logs, and SharePoint files
- Coordinate interfaces with Utilities, Civil, and Facilities teams
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Construction industry experience is a strong asset
- Class 5 driver’s licence, with GDL acceptable
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and time management skills
Develop civil construction experience through safety, quality assurance, survey coordination, and concrete placement support at Parsons.
