In this full-time position, you'll play a vital role in a 24/7 van outreach program. Your focus will be providing food, shelter, and harm reduction supplies to those in need. Key skills include crisis management, knowledge of community resources, and a commitment to harm reduction principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure community needs are met with food and shelter supplies
- Drive and operate outreach vans effectively
- Respond to emergencies and document incidents
- Assist unsheltered individuals during extreme weather
- Maintain accurate records of services provided
- Experience in human services or outreach preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required
- CPR and First Aid certifications needed
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
