MNP is seeking a dedicated Tax Technician for its National Tax Services Group. You will play a key role in preparing tax returns, managing client files, and addressing compliance issues. This position requires strong technical expertise and offers a chance to collaborate with a dynamic team to drive tax practice success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in completing personal and corporate tax returns
- Set up client files for new businesses
- Prepare journal entries and bookkeeping services
- Review legal documents for compliance accuracy
- Correspond with clients and government agencies on tax issues
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in accounting or related field
- Experience in an accounting or client service environment
- Familiarity with tax software and financial statement analysis
- Knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
