Deliver quality care as an Activity Aide within the Adult Day Program. Support clients by implementing engaging activities and ensuring their well-being. VON is hiring a casual Activity Aide to provide support for clients attending the Adult Day Program. This role requires collaboration with families and recreational therapists while focusing on clients' daily needs and service plans. You'll engage in meaningful activities that foster mobility, communication, and a sense of community among participants. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop tailored service plans for each client
- Implement, evaluate, and revise plans with families
- Collaborate in planning recreational programs
- Facilitate group activities to stimulate clients
- Assist with daily living activities as needed
- Diploma or Certificate in healthcare or social sciences
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Food Handler’s certificates
- 1-2 years in Adult Day Services experience preferred
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license
