Sales Associates provide fast, friendly service while assessing customer needs and offering assistance. In plumbing and electrical departments, you will describe merchandise features, explain project steps, and identify needed products. The work includes cooperation with supervisors and other sales associates across store departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ask open-ended questions about customer projects and expertise
- Describe merchandise features and benefits clearly
- Explain project steps and required products
- Maintain assigned areas in-stock, clean, and safe
- Multitask while assisting customers effectively
Requirements:
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Customer service environment experience
- Sales-driven environment experience is an asset
- Excellent communication and reading skills
- Trade experience and computer proficiency are assets
Use communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to support plumbing and electrical customers at The Home Depot.
