As a Plant Accountant, you will be essential in preparing detailed financial reports and ensuring adherence to company accounting practices. We require 3 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting and a robust understanding of GAAP. Your role will involve not just report preparation but also collaborating with various departments to drive financial insights and efficiencies throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze monthly financial reports and P&L statements
- Execute cost management and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations
- Assist with month-end processes and journal entries
- Provide timely support to plant management teams
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years in manufacturing cost accounting
- Proficiency in GAAP
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant area
- Strong communication and analytical capabilities
