Join SYSTRA Canada as a Traffic Signal Design Technologist focusing on illuminating systems and traffic signal projects. This remote position requires proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D for impactful project contributions. In this role, you will leverage 3 to 5 years of experience to design, coordinate, and manage lighting and signalization projects. You'll utilize your skills in preparing engineering drawings and calculations, ensuring the design meets municipal or provincial project standards. Your expertise will also involve collaborating with stakeholders and participating in project administration functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering drawings using CAD software
- Design traffic signal and street lighting systems
- Generate drawings for approval from stakeholders
- Conduct project administration and documentation
- Attend coordination meetings as needed
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of distribution systems
- Excellent communication skills
