Lead housekeeping operations on part-time nights and weekends through staff supervision, infection control, and strong organizational skills. This on-site role pays $28 CAD per hour.
As an Environmental Services Supervisor, you will supervise, train, and inspect assigned housekeeping staff. You will coordinate housekeeping and linen activities, emphasizing Infection Control and Occupational Health & Safety. The position also requires personnel management, budgeting awareness, inventory control, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and inspect assigned housekeeping staff
- Coordinate housekeeping and linen department activities
- Prepare assignment sheets and communicate shift changes
- Document attendance, call offs, and staff replacements
- Monitor supplies, equipment, keys, radios, and beepers
Requirements:
- At least two years of housekeeping supervisory experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and laundry management
- Strong understanding of Infection Control and Standard Precautions
- Understanding of budgeting and profit and loss concepts
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills
