Join the dedicated team at Black & McDonald as a Journeyman Electrician, primarily based in Edmonton, AB. Focus on electrical installations and maintain robust utility services in a growing environment. As a qualified Journeyman Electrician, you’ll be integral to various electrical tasks including troubleshooting, pulling cables, and installation of streetlights and power distribution. Your capacity to work independently and effectively on site will enhance our team's productivity and innovation. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and test various electrical devices
- Assist in installations and maintenance operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve site-related electrical issues
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks
- Supervise the setup and initiation of equipment operations
- 4+ years’ experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician
- Advanced competency in reading and interpreting schematics
- Accreditations in safety (CSTS, Fall Protection)
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License highly desirable
- Willing to travel to multiple job sites
