Enhance veterinary telehealth services with VetWise as a Seasonal Remote Veterinary Technologist. Utilize your skills to support pet owners while working from the comfort of your home. VetWise is seeking passionate, seasonal part-time Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs) to join our team in Alberta during the busy summer months. This remote role allows you to conduct patient triage, assist with consultations, and educate clients. You will also be central in improving access to care while reducing burdens on veterinary hospitals. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote patient triage and assessment of pet symptoms
- Provide compassionate client education and support
- Coordinate follow-up care and necessary appointments
- Document and update patient records accurately
- Offer emergency virtual triage assistance
- Active registration in Alberta, member in good standing
- 3-5 years as a Registered Veterinary Technician
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in technology for virtual consultations
