Support custom manufacturing quotes at ABBA Roller using drawings, specifications, cost information, and organized documentation. This role includes on-the-job training.
The Estimator Assistant supports roller and elastomer project quoting while developing estimating knowledge. You will organize requests, gather material and vendor information, maintain records, and communicate requirements across internal teams. Estimating work is reviewed by an experienced Estimator or designated leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review quote requests, drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements
- Collect material, labor, tooling, and production information
- Request vendor pricing and lead-time information
- Prepare draft quotes and supporting documentation
- Maintain quote records and track due dates
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic math skills and comfort with measurements
- Basic computer skills; Excel and Outlook preferred
- Ability to organize detailed job documents
- Careful, dependable, organized, and communicative
Develop estimating skills through ABBA Roller training while supporting accurate quotes, vendor research, documentation, and manufacturing communication.
