This Journeyperson Welder position supports heavy equipment maintenance and repair in an industrial shop environment. You will repair, fabricate, and assemble Komatsu and other heavy-duty equipment. The work includes blueprint interpretation, failure analysis, customized components, and occasional field service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair, fabricate, and assemble heavy-duty industrial equipment
- Interpret blueprints, layouts, and work orders accurately
- Customize mobile equipment for customer specifications
- Complete structural and component welding repairs
- Maintain safe, organized work areas
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Welder certification
- Mining equipment maintenance and repair experience
- Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation
- Equipment troubleshooting and repair solution experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
