Become a Keyholder at Pet Valu and play a key role in your community while supporting pet adoption and care initiatives. This role focuses on operational management and enhancing customer experiences. As a Keyholder, you’ll ensure the store runs smoothly, from sales to stock management. Your duties will include assisting customers at the register, maintaining the sales area, and leading the store during management absences. Emphasizing safety and efficiency in all tasks is paramount while promoting a friendly environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service as a cashier
- Prepare and process merchandise paperwork
- Organize small items for display and store upkeep
- Assist with unloading and stocking pet food deliveries
- Execute opening and closing store functions
- At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer engagement
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor
- Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs
- Flexibility in scheduling availability
