As a Business Systems Analyst you will provide operational support to the Fraser Health’s Digital Patient and Provider Experience Team in the area of Integration Operations. application, DB, OS, network, and IT infrastructure. You have the ability to solve technical and strategic challenges using innovative approaches. You will also be involved in all phases of systems development life cycle and implementation projects includes hands on development and application design as a DevOp. You will excel as you work with all levels of the business, ensuring information technology deliverable align with the business requirements. Provide support and system administration of an interoperable solution that enables integration of clinical and business workflows across core clinical systems at Fraser Health, numerous other regional and provincial integration initiatives. Provide systems analysis participating in the establishment of system scope and objectives, conducting feasibility studies, planning or modifying source code to solve system problems. Identify system deficiencies, user department operational inefficiencies and ways of improving business efficiency functions. You will be using complex data to support technical decisions and you'll need to demonstrate collaborative, creative and conceptual thinking. Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science or Computer Science or related field. Zero (0) to Three (3) years' of experience in technical systems analysis. Assets to this role Familiarity with integration technology such as Microsoft Biztalk. Knowledge of IT infrastructure and Networking in a highly secured environment. Experience with Windows Server troubleshooting and maintenance. Experience with Microsoft SQL (database maintenance, performance measuring, writing ad-hoc queries). Working experience of Web Services, IIS, and Certificates. NET Framework (C#) Experience with object-oriented programming. Knowledge of software development lifecycle. Skills in data research, gathering, modeling. Knowledge of information management, and project management. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. This full-time position is based at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC, with access to rapid transit, shopping, restaurants, on-site gym and other amenities.
