We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. This role involves arranging and conducting memorial services, providing on-call support, and managing funeral contracts and documentation. You will handle the respectful care of the deceased while meeting the diverse needs of families during difficult times. Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies
- Verify identification and obtain embalming authorization
- Supervise the transportation and handling of the deceased
- Ensure compliance with legal documents and payment collection
- Assist families with special military recognition services
- High School diploma and mortuary science training
- 2 years of related experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Compassionate and detail-oriented approach
