Become a vital member of the surgical team as an Operating Room Assistant. Ensure the highest standards of safety and support during surgical procedures across diverse healthcare settings. This position, reporting to the Clinical Manager, involves collaborating with health professionals to facilitate efficient surgeries. Ideal candidates offer at least three years of relevant experience in an acute care environment, showcasing knowledge of operating room protocols and multitasking capabilities. Your role will be integral in creating a safe surgical atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in surgical settings
- Ensure functionality and cleanliness of equipment
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Aid in the positioning of patients and surgical supplies
- Manage sterilization and processing of instruments
- Minimum three years' experience in relevant roles
- Must possess Grade 12 education and complete aide course
- Enrollment in the Operating Room Assistant Course required
- Strong knowledge of surgical practices and medical terms
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
