Azure & Container Cloud Engineer Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Azure & Container Cloud Engineer with strong Azure, Container and Bash/Powershell experience to place at our client, a Big Five Bank. Client: Big Five Bank Terms: 10-month contract Location: Hybrid Toronto Preferred Job Description: · We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and hands-on experience with container technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cloud design, infrastructure as code and modern application hosting with the ability to design, deploy and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions in Azure. Key Qualifications: · Design, deploy and manage Azure based solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability and security · Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Hashicorp CDKTF and ARM templates · Understanding of Azure landing zones, Azure Policies, RBAC, networking and identity integration · Strong Bash and Powershell scripting capabilities. · Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker and ACR · Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate container builds and deployments · Optimize container environments for performance, security and cost efficiency · Implement monitoring, alerting and logging for said containers · Support patching, upgrades and lifecycle management of container workloads · Work with security teams to ensure compliance and industry best practices are adhered to.
