Join Seneca as a Licensed Electrician responsible for overseeing the electrical systems and equipment across all campuses. Your expertise will ensure safe and compliant installations and maintenance within the facilities. As part of the Facilities Management team, the Licensed Electrician plays a critical role in performing installation, troubleshooting, and repairs of various electrical systems, including distribution, lighting, and fire alarms. You will be proactive in conducting inspections and maintenance tasks to support operational efficiency. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are vital in this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical distribution systems and equipment
- Perform diagnostics and preventative maintenance on building systems
- Conduct inspections of fire alarm and emergency power systems
- Support Building Automation Systems related to HVAC
- Maintain accurate service and inspection records
- Trade certification from the Ontario Ministry of Labour
- Minimum three years of experience as a licensed electrician
- Knowledge of HVAC and Building Automation Systems
- Proficient with maintenance management software
- Strong communication skills for diverse interactions
