Start in public relations at BMO with media monitoring and concise writing. Work onsite at 33 Dundas Street West from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET.
This internship supports BMO Public Relations campaigns and earned media projects. You will research, write, report coverage, and collaborate with communicators across the bank. The work includes helping amplify coverage for internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and circulate daily monitoring clip sheets
- Provide real-time updates on BMO and industry news
- Compile coverage reports and maintain relevant databases
- Prepare media lists, releases, and translation requests
- Support media events, interviews, and business communications
Requirements:
- Recent graduate enrolled in public relations or communications studies
- Strong proofreading, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong written communication and summarization abilities
- Microsoft Office and SharePoint proficiency
- Knowledge of Canadian Press and Associated Press style
Build public relations experience at BMO through media monitoring, research, writing, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.
