Valuing customer service, continual professional development, open communication and work/life balance, Foothills County is inviting applications for a full-time GIS Data Analyst.
The GIS Data Analyst is responsible for delivering GIS and mapping services in support of organizational initiatives. As a member of the GIS team and under the guidance of the Manager of GIS Projects and Solutions, the incumbent will play a key role in the collection, management, maintenance, and enhancement of GIS data.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of GIS principles and practices, including spatial analysis, cartographic design, and ESRI's online applications. This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong research skills, and a high level of attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. Candidates must have a university degree or diploma in a related field, along with a minimum of four years of professional experience using ESRI software and GIS technologies.
