Support application operations and cloud environments as an IT Specialist II with WCB-Alberta in Edmonton, using troubleshooting and technical assurance skills.
This permanent, full-time position supports WCB-Alberta’s Application & Cloud Services team within Business Technology Services. You will manage installations, tuning, vulnerability management, pipelines, deployments, and application support. The work also includes documentation, testing, scripting, packaging, distribution, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install software while following change management practices
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems
- Support on-premises and cloud environments
- Prepare application and environment documentation
- Participate in on-call support rotation
Requirements:
- Computer-related university or technology institute graduate
- Minimum three years’ IT industry experience
- At least one year of technical support experience
- Familiarity with Power Apps, Teams, and Dynamics 365
- Azure Fundamentals and ISP designation pursued or held
Bring application operations, cloud support, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills to WCB-Alberta’s Edmonton-based technology services team.
