We are seeking an experienced Data Developer to support enterprise-level reporting, data engineering, and analytics initiatives. This role is ideal for a technically strong data professional who can build high-quality data models, optimize SQL queries, support BI reporting, and collaborate across multiple technical teams. The environment is currently transitioning from Azure to AWS , so exposure to AWS data tools will be considered a strong asset. Key Requirements High-priority technical skills: dbt Core – must have Python & SQL SQL Server / T-SQL AWS: Athena, Redshift, S3, Glue Experience with an orchestration tool ( Airflow, Dagster, or Mage ) Must-haves: Strong reporting experience Expert-level SQL writing and understanding of query logic Basic database administration capabilities Experience with execution plans and SQL performance tuning Experience handling error/air flows in SQL SSRS (paginated reports) experience What You'll Do Build and maintain Power BI reports aligned with business needs. Develop, implement, and optimize SQL stored procedures and functions. Design and maintain database schemas, structures, and data models. Build data transformations and ensure datasets are clean, accurate, and reliable. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Applications, BI, CRM, Security) to provide data support. Optimize and maintain legacy data systems, pipelines, and code. Support data management processes across Digital Labs and business departments. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the data ecosystem (storage, processing, cleansing, usage). Perform common database operations including access requests, upgrades, backups, recovery, and migrations. Technical Skills Intermediate–Advanced SQL Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL Proficiency with Power BI and Power BI Report Server Working knowledge of additional RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) Understanding of AWS-based data technologies Git / code version control proficiency Experience with Python (asset) Familiarity with NoSQL or Graph databases (asset)
