Sephora is seeking a full-time Asset Protection Specialist in Victoria, BC, dedicated to loss prevention and operational integrity. This role requires strong communication and surveillance skills. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding store assets and supporting the Leadership team in business operations. You'll utilize CCTV and on-site surveillance to deter theft, while preparing reports and maintaining valuable relationships with local authorities. Training staff and conducting self-audits are also part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive service and security expertise to customers
- Utilize CCTV for effective theft detection
- Comply with laws on apprehension and evidence
- Document theft incidents and conduct audits
- Conduct training sessions for staff on prevention tactics
- 1 year of experience in asset protection within retail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Willingness to work varied hours, including holidays
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
