Build production tooling on site in Mississauga with DBG Canada, using blueprint reading and standard tool room machinery. New tool build experience is required.
This contract Die Maker role fabricates specialized tooling and equipment for production. You will build tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures from prints or instructions. The work includes prototype tooling, die inspection, repairs, and press troubleshooting. DBG Canada supplies stamped, fabricated, assembled, and sequenced products and services to major OEMs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate specialized production tooling and equipment
- Build tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair production dies
- Troubleshoot presses to minimize production downtime
- Operate lathes, grinders, and milling machines
Requirements:
- Tool and Die Certificate and Grade 12 Diploma
- Two years of die build experience
- New tool build experience required
- Progressive and hand transfer die experience required
- Blueprint reading and standard measuring tool skills
