Portion and serve meals at Youville Home as a Food Service Worker I, following menu, diet, temperature, and portion standards.
This temporary part-time position supports food service within a continuing care setting. You will package food, wash dishes, clean kitchen surfaces, and follow diet protocols. The role is classified as Food Service Worker I and covered by the COV AUPE GSS agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portion food items according to menu and diet protocols
- Package meals while following portion control standards
- Serve food within temperature requirements
- Wash and put away dishes
- Clean kitchen and surfaces throughout the kitchen
Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent
- Ability to follow menu and diet protocols
- Ability to meet portion control standards
- Ability to follow temperature standards
- Availability for days and weekends
Support residents through accurate food portioning, meal service, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning at Youville Home.
