Take charge of the shipping department at M+J Woodcrafts as a Day Shift Supervisor. This role focuses on leading a team and ensuring quality control in product shipments. As a full-time supervisor, you will organize your team for efficient shipping and receiving operations. Your responsibilities include prioritizing shipments, maintaining high-quality standards, and providing support to customer service. This position demands reliable leadership and the ability to work well without direct supervision. Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead team in shipping activities
- Manage day-to-day shipment organization and prioritization
- Perform quality assurance on finished products
- Assist customer service and machine operators as needed
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment
- Minimum of 5 years’ ERP systems experience
- Reliable and self-motivated character
- Ability to lift 40-70 lbs daily
- Proficient in forklift operation
- Willingness to assist with various tasks
