Operate a propane forklift in Duncan while building accurate customer orders for delivery and supporting safe material handling. Full-time work serves building-material customers.
GMS Canada seeks a motivated, customer-focused Forklift Operator - Order Builder for its Duncan location. Use lift-truck operation, order building, load checking, and material handling skills daily. The position supports scheduled shipments and customer expectations while following company procedures and management instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect lift trucks daily and complete required forms
- Build customer orders to delivery specifications
- Load and unload building materials safely
- Check load contents and secure materials
- Maintain contact with supervisors to resolve issues
Requirements:
- Valid propane forklift certification
- Minimum two years of experience
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
