Blackstone Industrial is hiring a CNC Machinist focused on precision manufacturing of mechanical components for rotating equipment. Prioritize safety and quality while working in a shop environment. The ideal candidate will possess a Journeyman Machinist ticket and significant experience with CNC machinery. This role demands a detail-oriented professional capable of interpreting blueprints and ensuring that components meet rigid specifications. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to setting benchmarks in compressor maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machinery
- Machine components to high precision standards
- Inspect and document parts using measuring tools
- Interpret work instructions and drawings effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Journeyman Machinist certification with over 5 years of experience
- Proficient in operating CNC lathes and mills
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
- Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
