Teach French Immersion ELK students at Sunset Park Public School with Primary qualifications and French as a Second Language Part 1. This permanent NNDSB position begins in the 2026–2027 school year.
The Near North District School Board seeks a teacher for a French Immersion ELK class. The successful candidate will understand Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents, support varied learners, and strengthen literacy and numeracy from a whole-school perspective. Technology integration is central to documenting and evaluating student work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a French Immersion ELK class
- Support varied learners, including at-risk students
- Support literacy and numeracy school-wide
- Integrate technology for documenting student work
- Use EDSBY for learning and guardian communication
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
- Valid Ontario College of Teachers Registration Certification
- Primary Qualifications
- French as a Second Language Part 1
- Successful NNDSB French Competency Testing completion
