Join BIS Safety Software as a Software Risk and Compliance Analyst based in Sherwood Park, where you will oversee data governance and compliance initiatives crucial to our software developments. This in-person position offers a unique blend of technology and product development focus. As a proactive analyst, your role involves assessing risks pertinent to new features, ensuring alignment with standards such as PCI DSS and GDPR. You’ll work closely with development teams to embed compliance requirements right from the beginning, fostering a culture of accountability and enablement. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee risk assessments for feature and module changes
- Participate early in product planning sessions
- Track project developments to ensure scope compliance
- Verify controls within software functionality
- Assess AI features for adherence to privacy commitments
- Proven background in risk or compliance
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Familiarity with control frameworks like SOC 2
- Experience with project management and ticketing tools
- Relevant degree in compliance, information security, or similar
