This Machine Design Engineer role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. The position emphasizes mechanical systems, mathematics, physics, programming, and solid modelling. Experience with shop or garage work, engines, pumps, hand tools, and CAD systems supports the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply mechanical systems knowledge to machine design
- Use mathematics and physics in engineering work
- Develop models with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other CAD systems
- Apply programming knowledge to machine design tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Shop or garage experience with hand tools
- Experience working with cars, motorcycles, engines, or pumps
- Experience using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or another CAD system
- Aptitude for solid modelling and programming
Use mechanical engineering, CAD, and solid modelling skills to develop machine designs grounded in mathematics and physics.
